Hi Geeks! Hope you all are doing well! Apologies for not posting sooner, but I’ve been hard at work on the 109K-4 in the paint barn.
I used Gunze Aqueous and Tamiya Acrylic paint; mixed to my liking. Several shades of each color were sprayed; all around 70% Thinner (X-20A) and 30% Paint. The finer details were sprayed with a mix a little thinner; around 80% Thinner 20% Paint. Once the paint job was complete, I painted all the markings, including the stencils. I used Custom made masks, Montex, and 1ManArmy Stencils for the markings, which are simply awesome!
I cannot stress enough how wonderful this kit is. One of the best I’ve ever built. Definitely the best 109 I’ve ever built in any scale.
These are pics prior to final assembly. As soon as I finish her up, I’ll post a final build article and pics.
Thanks again for following and have a great day!
