Gallery update: First, there’s my Aichi M6A1 Seiran from Tamiya in 1/72. This kit is tooled in 1997, but still holds her own with modern kit releases. A testament to the quality of Tamiya engineering. The trailer came with the kit, the pilot is a figure from White Stork Miniatures, which I highly recommend. Second, I’m adding a dh.88 Comet in 1/72 from clearprop. The pilots on the base are again from whitestork. This specific well know red racer, sponsored by Grosvenor House, won the MacRobertson airrace from London to Melbourne in 1934. I decided on a black base to make the red pop.
