After a lot of filling-sanding-priming (4 rounds), the Poseidon looks like an aircraft. One more coat of primer to even out the color. The wings are cemented on, that tape is just to hold it in place while the cement cures overnight.

I planned to put the horizontal stabs on but quickly realized they were not the same thickness!

Well, it took about 10 seconds to realize I’d cemented the bottom to the bottom and the top to the top. Doh!
I used a large chisel X-acto blade and a bit of Tamiya Extra Thin to slowly work the seams loose. Success and frankly the damage wasn’t as bad as it could be.

After repeating my mistake (yes, I cemented the bottom to the bottom again) I got them right way round. They will need some cleanup to fix the minor damage before I put them on the model.
