The model is an Eastern Express 747SP done in American Airlines colors, representative of American Airline’s brief stint operating the SP variant during the late 80s and early 90s. The kit is finished with Mr. Paint Boeing Gray and Alclad II Chrome, and features decals from the kit and 26Decals 747SP doors and windows. The flaps down configuration is from the Laci 1/144 747SP Landing Flaps Kit, and the wheels/tires are from ResKit. The JT9-D engines are from Druz144’s 747SP engines kit. This model was entered into the 2026 IPMS Silverwings SilverCon competition, and took first in the Airliners category.
