I`d like to share another recent build.

Tamiya 1/48 F-14A, backdated to block 70 (1975 first tomcat cruise – Op. Frequent wind)

  • BAM models early beavertail with dielectric panels removed.
  • tail position light deleted
  • ‘faired-over’ slime lights at rear fuselage sides
  • MCC detailed gear bays
  • MCC GRU-7A seats
  • Galaxy model exhausts.
  • Reskit undercarriage
  • Eduard early wheel hubs
  • custom made dual sidewinder pylon(only appeared during 1974/75 I believe)
  • Quickboost early IR Chinpod
  • extra TAT probe left side of windscreen.
  • quickboost phoenix rail upgrades.
  • Fightertownd decals,
  • Mr. Color paints.
  • I hope you like it!

My favourite model when i was a child was the 1/72 Airfix tomcat in wolfpack markings.. I simply had to build another.
