What’s crack-a-lack’n geeks! its time for another update to the Privateer build. Now it was time to make the cuts to the fuselage and get the Koster parts attached. I used 5 min epoxy and made tabs with eh scrap plastic from the vac form parts to reinforce the joins. Remember the old adage, “measure twice and cut once” for these next steps. Following Don Fogal’s method I proceeded to cut the forward fuselage plug from the Koster kit parts. While I was doing this, I also peeped the waist turret openings by cutting away the flash and used that as a template laid over the rear fuselage to mark where the openings needed to be oh, don’t forget to cut off the waist turret earrings from the Koster parts. Once that was done the vac form and kit pieces were brought together and re-enforced with scrap vac form plastic and 5 min epoxy.
