I wanted to chime in on Austin’s idea about building models based on inspiration from reading. That is absolutely relatable. The P-38 I just finished was inspired by the book, Race of Aces by John Bruning, chronicling the pilots of the Southwest Pacific. As you guys mentioned in the interview I think a lot of us modelers are as much readers as we are modelers, or at least are history buffs who gain inspiration from that. It would be awesome to see a table in the Tiger Meet at Huntsville for guys to showcase the work a book has inspired.
