I just completed the Bases by Bill carrier base for my 1/72 F6F-5N from Eduard.  This is the first time I’ve used one of their bases and happy with the backdrop it creates for the model.  At first I was going to leave the base natural, but Whitey and several others convinced me to paint it.  Glad I took the leap.  We’re traveling to the Rocky Mountain Expo tomorrow.
