Last episode I mentioned getting the Air Graphics bomb bay set. It’s almost a drop fit replacement for the aft panel and frankly looks significantly better than having a closed bomb bay.
You may remember that I’m building this in-flight, so that block of balsa with a hole is the socket for the acrylic rod. You can just see the hole for the rod in the underside, port, just in front of the bomb bay.
There are gaps, but then again the entire kit has had its share of gaps. I’m still sanding and filling (and sanding and filling…) the fuselage seams. The wings are taped onto the fuselage just because I had to fly it around a bit. It is a BIG model!
